MEMORABLE And IMPACTFUL Experiential Approaches to Deepen Your IMPACT and Boost Your Coaching Business in the Era of AI
The world of work, and coaching, is changing quite quickly. What are you noticing about what your clients want and what they are finding value with in their work?
As we step into 2026 there are massive shifts happening everywhere - What it means to work - WHAT we do, WHO does it, WHO we are partnering with. TRUST is at its low yet NEEDS around HUMAN CONNECTION are at a peak
This year my 2nd annual Coaching for Change is diving into the landscape of the cutting edge of coaching - Human Connection Design ™, and what our partnering looks like with human and AI audiences.
Early last year World Economic Forum released it’s Future of Jobs Report 2030. The skill gap between where we are now, and what is going to be needed in the future is continuing to grow. As man of you know the report points to the need and emphasis on a number of skill areas. On their top 10 list of note is:
#2 – Resilience, Flexibility and Agility
#3 – Leadership and Social Influence
#4 – Creativity
#5 - Motivation and Self-awareness
This is where Human Connection Design™ comes in --- a fusion of coaching, experience design, and facilitated approaches for the evolving landscape of work (which may be AI enabled, hybrid (human-Ai, virtual-physical)
For the last few decades my work as a leader in the coaching space has been about pushing the boundaries of what coaching looks like and sounds like.
In 2006 that meant launching the Group Coaching Essentials training, shifting the boundary of coaching from 1-1 to group
In 2010 I started offering Team Coaching Intensives, following it up in 2013 with the From One to Many Book
2017 it was Effective Virtual Conversations leading the way in which we create engaging virtual conersations
And 2018, PlanDoTrack -a resource for remote professionals
2021 it was Reconnecting Workspaces - a handbook for navigating the changing world of work.
We are now at another inflection point – this one a congruence of factors leading to change – from geopolitical events to climate and the influence of AI, our clients worlds are changing
With complexity comes the need to do something different. It's about going back to the basics and building/creating from what is. At the same time, exploring many of the topics above require different ways of coaching.
Creative and Experiential approaches are going continuing to be the focus of a series of Quarterly Workshops in 2026 under the Conversation Sparker Experiential Roadshow, which started last year.
I hope that you will join us for.... the 2nd ANNUAL - Experiential Roadshow Workshop

Join us for the January 29th workshop - EARLY EARLY BIRD RATE OF $197 US (this also includes a post-call in early FEB and on-demand content)
Like many of the coaches I work with, you’ve probably discerning about what you learn and how you learn.
Is this different than the 2025 Coaching for Change - Make it Stick Winter Workshop? Yes, it is. Last year's workshop dove into what was important then - memorability and retention. This year it's a different ballpark. Engagement and trust are key as is helping our clients get traction in a rapidly, and sometimes, radically changing context.
Isn't this covered in other programs? No, this is a one off program where we start diving into some of my most emerging writing and work with clients. We're going to be diving into Human Connection Design (an emerging area of Experience Design), and Coaching The Future, two new books I have been working on.
How does your training differ: The science of change is at the core of everything we do here at Potentials Realized. Our work is grounded in cognitive psychology, adult education, critical education, environmental systems approaches, as well as experience in working on the range of sustainable change from the individual level, team, group, organization, region, national and even global levels of change.
Why is this training important, now in 2025?
Just like coaches bring different skills and superpowers, our clients also benefit from a variety of approaches. No one client is the same, and when working in the realm of Coaching Many it can be important to have a diverse toolkit to draw upon.
Also, the changes in the world are providing an opportunity for people to turn to “safe spaces” to explore their opportunities and challenges. Coaching is a critical, and confidential, hub for people to share the ups and downs of their experience and life. As coaches we are not there to solve problems, rather to provide a space for people to explore what truly matters.
When we are able to build from self, which is the heart of the experiential process, we are able to be seen and understood.
How will I be able to apply this?
I know you may be concerned that this is another training that you will take without applying. I’m confident that this will stick, just like the name implies, as these are important tweaks that you can make to individual, group and team conversation. We’ll be modeliing the experiential process so that there will be some training BEFORE the session, and some AFTER the session, to keep that learning alive.
Do I need another training? In a changing context it’s always good to have something that can be applied in many different conversations. Experiential approaches build on the clients we work with. Most, if not all, of these approaches will work for a wide range of topics – from reliance, to burnout, to career issues to conflict. I’ve been using them, and training coaches on them, some for decades, and at very least for years.
Will these work in virtual and in-person environments? Yes, I’ve tested these in both virtual, in person and also hybrid environments.
Why is this just a short program?
This workshop can be taken as a one-off program. It’s likely that at some point you’ve taken some additional training as a coach. The introduction of the Quarterly Playshops under the Experiential Roadshow™ is to provide a mobile, and organic, series of quarterly workshops. Given the rate of change it is intended that these shorter workshop themes will grow organically.
We offer longer workshops to coaches as part of our ICF-CCE approved programs. As a seasoned coach education company, training coaches since 2006, we know that the development of the coach continues across their lifespan. This programming is not CCE approved at present, however, if there is interest we may get them reviewed for CCEs.
Will I get a set of the DICE, CARDS and other products?
We'll be working with our products during the virtual or in person session and they will be available to you as an attendee at a special FOUNDERS rate for a new annual membership I'll be offering which will consist of a quarterly tool, a workshop, and tools you can bring in.
Imagine if….
You had a community of others to connect with and you had a variety of tools and creative approaches to explore?
You didn't have to do the same thing each hour
A little bit about the Conversation Sparker™ Suite of Products
Originally introduced in 2014, the Conversation Sparker™ Cards have found their way around the world to coaches, trainers and organizations as diverse as the Chicago Symphony, Saskatchewan Farmer's Coops, and multiple other businesses.
The Conversation Sparker™ Cards and products have grown from that first deck to now include:
We know that these are not just FUN Toys but are founded in science. Change is a multi-layered process and it can be challenging and not always a direct route to get at the deeper layers of change like mindsets, assumptions, belief systems, especially in groups and teams.
Creative tools like card decks and dice, along with many other experiential processes can act as a bridge, unlocking new ideas, insights and wisdom n our clients.
