As Albert Einstein once said, 'The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.' Embrace change, foster creativity, and innovate relentlessly to amplify your business."
Welcome back to week 2 of exploring the Super Six Amplifiers for your coaching business. These six elements form the foundation and backbone of our six month Amplify Mastermind which kicks off on May 1st.

Last time we explored what it means to AMPLIFY YOU.

Your presence and your foundations are critical for a successful business.

If you have a copy of the Coaching Business Builder, be sure to explore section 4 of the Personal Ecosystem.

Throughout the 2024 Mastermind (running from May 1 – October 31) we’ll be exploring each of the SuperSix Amplify Levers more in depth.

Today let’s take a look at area #2 – Amplifying your Business, which means:
  • Shoring up your business foundations – systems, processes, automation.
  • Developing your Business Acumen – this year we are going to be looking at the impact, and leverage of AI in our business processes, specifically marketing.
  • Core Business Skills which you’ll assess and pick one area of focus for each of the two quarters we’ll be working on.
  • The final piece is exploring your PLATFORM, another theme that will run across the entire 180 days of the Mastermind.

ACTIVITY – Complete the Wheel of business found in Section 1 of the Coaching Business Builder. As you explore those business areas, what do you notice? What is the one area that needs some attention right now? What specific actions do you want to take? Who are you going to be accountable to?

Our business is different than us, and it is the backbone and foundation for any business success. What time are you dedicating to work ON the business?

If you are looking for ongoing support on a weekly basis through a combination of 1-1 support, group calls, on-demand content, hands-on exercises and peer support, consider joining us for the 6 month AMPLIFY Mastermind for Coaches and Digital Entrepreneurs starting May 1st.

Listen to me speak further about the AMPLIFY Mastermind in this short 10 minute YouTube video, and check out the program. It’s specifically geared for coaches and digital entrepreneurs.

I hope you will consider joining us if you are looking for a HOLISTIC, COMPREHENSIVE DIVE into YOUR Business this year (May to October)

Today, Let’s look at the first of the SUPER SIX AMPLIFIERS – Amplifying You.

FIRST, what does AMPLIFY MEAN?
The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines AMPLIFY as:

To expand
: to expand (something, such as a statement) by the use of detail or illustration or by closer analysis. 2. a. : to make larger or greater (as in amount, importance, or intensity) : increase.

In the Mastermind program each month is going to amplify a different layer required for business success.

What does it mean to AMPLIFY ourselves?
As we discuss in ACTIVATE your Group and Team Coahcing Superpowers, expanding our range and capacity as a group and team coach is critical.

As we explore AMPLIFYING YOU we are going to explore in Month 1 of the program (May 2024):
Vision
Values
Strengths
Ecosystem
Differentiation

While many of these are things you may already have in place, they are also cornerstones and foundations that we want to revisit regularly.
Learning modules will explore Vision, and Values, and I’ll be doing a Strengths Coaching session with each coach leveraging the power of the Clifton Strengths.
You’ll leave the month clear on your ecosystem and also what makes you different than other coaching businesses.

ACTIVITY for this week:
If you haven’t completed them already, review this year’s focus here at the blog on
VALUES – Week 6
VISION – Week 1

Enjoy the reflection!
Jennifer

Understanding Your Entrepreneurial DNA: The Blueprint of Your Coaching Journey
Introduction: Decoding the Essence of Entrepreneurial DNA

Just as DNA serves as the blueprint for life, entrepreneurial DNA serves as the blueprint for businesses and coaches alike. It encapsulates the fundamental elements that define who you are as an entrepreneur and shapes the trajectory of your coaching journey. In this blog post, we explore the concept of entrepreneurial DNA, unraveling its significance in the context of coaching businesses.

What is DNA and its Business Context?

DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the genetic material that carries the instructions for the development, functioning, growth, and reproduction of all known living organisms. In a business context, DNA symbolizes the unique combination of traits, values, beliefs, and experiences that distinguish one organization or individual from another. It encompasses everything from the mission and vision of a business to the leadership style and approach of its founders.

Applying DNA to Your Coaching Journey

Just as DNA determines the characteristics of living organisms, entrepreneurial DNA determines the characteristics of businesses and coaches. It influences everything from the services you offer to the clients you attract and the strategies you employ. Understanding your entrepreneurial DNA is essential for crafting a coherent narrative, building a strong brand identity, and aligning your actions with your values and goals.

In Focus - Values: The Core of Your Entrepreneurial DNA

At the heart of your entrepreneurial DNA lies your values. These are the guiding principles that inform your decisions, drive your behavior, and shape your interactions with clients and colleagues alike. Whether it's integrity, authenticity, or empathy, your values define who you are as a coach and set the tone for your coaching practice.

By aligning your actions with your values, you create a sense of authenticity and trust that resonates with your clients. You attract like-minded individuals who share your values and beliefs, fostering deeper connections and more meaningful relationships. Moreover, living your values allows you to stay true to yourself and maintain a sense of integrity and purpose in your coaching journey.

If you have not yet downloaded the Values Checklist published last month here at the blog head back to the values post - week 6 of the 52 week series. You can find it here.

Conclusion: Embracing Your Entrepreneurial DNA

In conclusion, entrepreneurial DNA is the blueprint that guides your coaching journey. It shapes your identity, influences your decisions, and determines your success as a coach. By understanding and embracing your entrepreneurial DNA, you can unlock your full potential, build a thriving coaching practice, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Origin Story - Week 9 of 52 weeks of Coaching Business Builder

Unveiling the Origin Story: The Heartbeat of Every Business

Origin stories are the lifeblood of businesses, serving as the foundation upon which they are built. They offer a glimpse into the journey, struggles, and triumphs that culminated in the creation of a brand. Much like a protagonist's backstory in a novel, an origin story sets the stage, captivates the audience, and establishes a connection that transcends mere commerce. In this blog post, we delve deep into the significance of origin stories, exploring why they matter and how they shape the identity of a business.

Quote: "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step." - Lao Tzu

Every business begins with a spark—an idea that ignites the imagination and fuels the entrepreneurial spirit. Whether it's a solution to a pressing problem or a revolutionary product, the genesis of a business is often rooted in a moment of inspiration. This initial spark sets the wheels in motion, propelling founders on a journey of discovery and innovation. From scribbled notes on a napkin to late-night brainstorming sessions, the genesis phase is marked by passion, determination, and unwavering belief in the vision.

Question: What inspired you to start your business?

No origin story is complete without its share of challenges and obstacles. From funding woes to market saturation, navigating the treacherous waters of entrepreneurship requires resilience and adaptability. The road to success is riddled with setbacks and failures, each serving as a valuable lesson in perseverance. Whether it's a pivot in strategy or a reevaluation of goals, overcoming adversity is an integral part of the journey. It is through these trials and tribulations that businesses forge their identity, emerging stronger and more resilient than before.

In Focus - Why: The Significance of Adversity in Business Growth

Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, there are moments of triumph that shape the narrative of a business. Whether it's securing a major partnership, launching a groundbreaking product, or reaching a significant milestone, these achievements serve as landmarks along the journey. Each success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team, reinforcing the belief that anything is possible with determination and perseverance. Celebrating these defining moments not only boosts morale but also reaffirms the vision and purpose driving the business forward.

Activity: Reflect on Your Business's Origin Story and Identify Key Milestones

As businesses grow and evolve, their origin stories become woven into the fabric of their identity. They serve as a reminder of the values and principles upon which the company was founded, guiding decision-making and shaping the culture. However, the journey doesn't end with the creation of an origin story—it continues to evolve as the business matures and expands its reach. Sustaining the vision requires constant innovation, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence. By staying true to their roots while embracing change, businesses can ensure that their origin story remains relevant and inspiring for generations to come.

Resources: Books, Podcasts, and Articles on Crafting Compelling Origin Stories

Origin stories are more than just a recounting of past events—they are a testament to the human spirit and the power of resilience. They capture the essence of a business, providing insight into its journey and shaping its identity in the eyes of the world. By embracing their origin stories, businesses can connect with their audience on a deeper level, forging stronger relationships and inspiring loyalty. So, the next time you encounter a business, take a moment to uncover its origin story—you might just find yourself inspired by the journey that brought it to life.

Enjoy your writing!

Stance - Week 8 of 52 Weeks of Coaching Business Builder

"Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen." — Winston Churchill
Week #8 – Stance

What is your stance around key issues related to your business? Think clients/customers, themes, trends etc?

What do you take a stand for, no matter what?

What’s important to note about your philosophy as a business?

How often do you review/revisit and even question your stance on things? Consider the quote of this week.

In Focus – WHY
Businesses wield a lot of power, and as a founder or leader, it’s important to note WHAT you take a stand for. Just like a tree trunk our stance shapes each business uniquely.

Consider the ecosystem you’ll find in section 4 of coaching Business Builder. There is space for you to consider your stance. Your stance is metaphorically the trunk of the tree. Is it strong? Does it bend? What does it look like?

Initially as a  business our stance may consist of one or two words, but as you grow and evolve as a business, what you take a stance around , or a stand for, often becomes very clear. Recently, as we move into our 20th year I wrote up the Potentials Realized Manifesto - which outlines our stance here and what we take a stand for. You can hear me share it as part of our 20th annual year-end programs call.

Click on over to learn more.

Activity
Take time this week to think about your business philosophies and stances. What topics/items would you go to bat for?

One additional doorway of insight into this can also be your Team and Group Coaching Superpowers. Each of the primary superpowers has a different stance around what's important. For example, the Spiral lighthouse coach is a stand for a safe harbour, while a Grounded Labyrinth coach will take a stand for pause, reflection and going inwards.

If you haven't taken the Team and Group Coaching Superpower Quiz check it out at https://bit.ly/gtcoachingsuperpower.
